UPDATE July 29 – The Victoria & Albert’s Restaurant has now reopened at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa after over two years of being shuttered since the park closures of March 2020 due to COVID-19. Guests with bookings are certainly in for a treat with a prestigious menu and multiple courses which include; Glacier 51 Toothfish, Heirloom Tomatoes, Carrot Tikka Masala and the Spectrum of Chocolate as well as the choice of over 500 world-class wines.
A highlight for guests to sample from the menu is the “Guajillo Spice, which is smoked tableside to highlight the rich flavors of roasted guajillo chilis, charred jalapeños, and black peppercorn, as well as a touch of caramelized sweetness from turbinado sugar and fresh lime.”

UPDATE June 12 – It has been announced this week that the Victoria & Albert’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is set to reopen on Thursday July 28 after over two years of being shuttered since the COVID-19 theme park shut downs of 2020. It has been reported by AllEars.Net, that the price of this experience has risen significantly, with some prix-fixe options costing over $100 more than they did before the closure.

March 16 – We have seen a phased reopening of Walt Disney World’s restaurants over the last eighteen months after the initial closures due to COVID-19. Some restaurants reopened quickly with others still remaining shuttered after nearly two years.
There is very exciting news this week. Disney has just announced that one of their most elite and prestigious restaurants, Victoria & Albert’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is set to reopen later this year.
This highly regarded restaurant has won numerous awards including the AAA Five Diamond Award and the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Award. Guests can dine at the Chef’s Table, in the kitchen or for a more private and exclusive experience in the Queen Victoria Room.
We don’t currently have any further details regarding the reopening of the Victoria & Albert’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa but we do now know it will be reopening later this year.
