Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando Resort saw a phased reopening for their theme parks after closing early on Wednesday November 9 evening, due to Storm Nicole.
All four Walt Disney World theme parks will be open as normal today along with Disney Springs. We await confirmation of when Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water and Winter Summerland Miniature Golf and Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf will reopen. Keep a check on the Weather updates and information page on the Walt Disney World website for further details on this.
Those guests with multi-day theme park tickets with unused days and a validity window impacted by Tropical Storm Nicole have been extended to allow use of the remaining unused ticket days through September 30, 2023.
Universal Orlando Resort theme parks were only operational for resort guests on a limited capacity yesteday but Universal Orlando has confirmed that Universal Studios Florida, Universal’s Islands of Adventure, Volcano Bay and CityWalk will be fully operational and open as normal beginning today.
