UPDATE February 14 – Volcano Bay will be closed today due to bad weather. It is scheduled to reopen tomorrow (February 15). It is always a good idea to check the official calendar before you go just in case of unexpected closures.
Due to continuing cold weather in Florida, with temperatures expected to only reach a high in the mid-60s, Volcano Bay at Universal Orlando Resort was closed on January 24, 2022.
The park reopened on Wednesday January 26 and continued its normal operations for the rest of the week.
The water park is currently closed every Tuesday and Thursday until February 17 with opening hours from 10:00am – 5:00pm subject to weather conditions. If you are looking to make a visit to Volcano Bay in the next few weeks it is always a good idea to check the official calendar before you go just in case of unexpected closures.
Currently, Runamukka Reef and Tot Tiki Reef are closed at the park and are due to reopen on February 17, 2022. The Kala and Tai Nui Serpentine Slides are also closed and are set to repoen on February 25, 2022.
