Universal Orlando Resort will fully reopen to all guests today with the Halloween Horror Nights event having returned last night and will resume normal operations tonight and beyond.

September 28 – With news that Hurricane Ian is going to hit Florida hard in the next few days, a number of closures have been announced from theme parks in Florida.
Universal Orlando Resort has released the following information regarding closures:
- Our destination, including CityWalk, will close on Wednesday, Sept. 28. We will remain closed Thursday and anticipate reopening on Friday, Sept. 30 as conditions permit.
- Our hotels are currently at full capacity and will remain operational as they focus on taking care of our guests.
- Our Halloween Horror Nights event at Universal Studios Florida will be canceled Wednesday, Sept. 28 and Thursday, Sept. 29. We anticipate reopening the event on Friday, Sept. 30 conditions permitting.
SeaWorld Entertainments has released the following information regarding closures of their parks:
- Busch Gardens Tampa Bay: Tuesday, September 27 – Thursday, September 29
- SeaWorld Orlando, Aquatica Orlando, and Discovery Cove: Wednesday, September 28 – Thursday, September 29

LEGOLAND Florida has released this information about closures:
- Sept 28 and Thurs, Sept 29, due to Hurricane Ian. Resort Hotels will remain open to guests with existing reservations.
- Any tickets dated for Wed., Sept. 28 through this Sun., Oct. 2, will be automatically extended through Dec. 31, 2022.
- Our call center offices are also temporarily closed. Once it is safe to do so, our team will return to the offices, and we will be ready to help you rebook your awesome stay. Vacation stays for this closure period will be able to be rebooked without penalty once our call center reopens.
