Universal Orlando Resort Quietly Hikes Prices Ahead of Expected Busy Summer

Universal Orlando Resort has quietly hiked prices on their annual passes now that their limited time three months free deal has expired. Here is the breakdown of the old vs. new prices for different tiers of two-park Universal Orlando Resort theme park passes:

    • 2-Park Annual Seasonal Pass was $304.99, now $349.99
    • 2-Park Annual Power Pass was $354.99, now $399.99
    •  2-Park Annual Preferred Pass was $394.99, now $449.99
    •  2-Park Annual Premiere Pass was $559.99, now $624.99

If you are a Florida resident, your price has gone up as well. Here is the breakdown of current prices for a two park annual pass:

    • FL Resident 2-Park Annual Seasonal Pass was $269.99 now $299.99
    • FL Resident 2-Park Annual Power Pass was $319.99 now $349.99
    • FL Resident 2-Park Annual Preferred Pass was $359.99 now $399.99
    • FL Resident 2-Park Annual Premiere Pass was $509.99 now  $559.99

These price hikes come at an interesting time for Universal Orlando Resort, which has been closing for capacity almost every day over the past several few weeks due to increased demand over spring break. And with Velocicoaster opening this summer, demand is expected to go even higher, which is likely at least partially driving these price hikes.

As of right now, capacity continues to be limited at Universal Orlando Resort due to COVID-19 restrictions, and its important to note that annual passes do not guarantee admission in the event the theme parks reach capacity.
