Universal Orlando Resort hits Capacity for Second Day in a Row

    Universal Orlando entering

It has been a busy weekend at Universal Orlando Resort as the theme parks hit capacity limits around noon yesterday, and now have once again hit capacity limits again today as of 11:00 AM with the official app showing that all three Universal Orlando Resort theme parks Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, and Volcano Bay are all at capacity.

Though there is a sign at the parking booth also alerts guests that the theme parks are at capacity guests with tickets are still being let in to the parks. The only big change is that tickets are not being sold, and those without admission will not be granted entry.

As you might expect, wait times inside the parks are currently astronomical, with most attractions, including Transformers: The Ride 3D, Skull Island: Reign of Kong, Popeyes Bilge Rat Barges, and even Shrek 4D seeing multi-hour waits inside the theme parks. As a reminder, several attractions are not currently open inside the park due to cost cutting efforts, including the following :

    • A Day in the Park with Barney
    • Fear Factor Live
    • Fast & Furious: Supercharged
    • Kang & Kodos Twirl n Hurl
    • Poseidon’s Fury
    • Storm Force Accelatron

Inside the parks, Universal has been restricting access to specific areas (most notably The Wizarding World of Harry Potter) in an effort to manage crowding in single areas.
