We reported yesterday that the much loved “Festival Of Fantasy” parade will return to the Magic Kingdom on March 9, 2022. We also have news of two new entertainment offerings that will debut at the Magic Kingdom park to celebrate the 50th Anniversary.
Firstly, “Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade!” will be seen for the first time ever on February 11, 2022. This enormous cavalcade is set to feature a massive thirty characters, both Disney and Pixar including:
- Nick and Judy from Zootopia
- Baloo and King Louie from The Jungle Book
- José Carioca and Panchito from The Three Caballeros
- Miguel from Coco
- Merida from Brave
- Moana from Moana
- The Incredibles
The “Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade!” will start from Main Street USA and will appear multiple times throughout the day. Check My Disney Experience App for details of show times when you arrive at the Magic Kingdom.
The second new entertainment offering to debut in February is “Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire”. This show will be performed on the Cinderella Castle Forecourt stage which is just in front of the Castle beginning on February 25. It will be led by Mickey and Minnie and will include a whole host of your favorite Disney characters including Rapunzel and Flynn from Tangled, Tiana from The Princess and the Frog and Olaf, Anna and Elsa from Frozen.
This show will be performed at certain times throughout the day so check the Entertainment Schedule, the My Disney Experience app or the Times Guide at Magic Kingdom park for daily showtimes.
We always hoped that 2022 would be a year where parades and shows would return and it looks like Disney is going full out to bring as many entertainment offerings to the parks as possible for guests to enjoy as part of The World’s Most Magical Celebration.
With the new fireworks spectacular, “Disney Enchantment” at Magic Kingdom and “Harmonious” at EPCOT and with “Finding Nemo: The Big Blue… and Beyond!” and “Fantasmic!” due to return later in the year, Disney fans should surely feel more hopeful that they will be able to experience the Disney magic on their visit this year.
