    A Touch of Disney Limited Capacity Event Announced

    After several weeks of hints and rumors, Disney confirmed today that beginning March 18th guests can check out a new hard-ticket food and beverage event at Disney California Adventure named Touch of Disney that will allow guests to roam around the park while attractions are closed. This new event will be offered Thursdays – Mondays from noon to 8:00 and each guests will need to purchase $75 ticket for admission.

    This ticket not only grants entry to the park, but also includes parking for the experience at Mickey & Friends parking structure, unlimited downloads of Disney PhotoPass photos taken during the day of the experience, and a $25 event dining card valid towards the purchase of food and non-alcoholic beverages. 

    During this event, almost the entire park will be open, with select retail locations open throughout the park open for shopping as well as food and beverage locations like Smokejumpers Grill, Adorable Snowman Frosted Treats, Award Wieners, Cocina Cucamonga. In addition to these quick service choices six standalong kiosk “marketplaces” will be open as well. Guests wanting table service can make reservations to dine alfresco at both Lamplight Lounge and Carthay Circle Lounge. 

    In addition to the food and shopping opportunities, guests who attend A Touch of Disney will have several opportunities to take photos with characters at a distance, including Mickey Mouse in various areas of the park, Mater and Lightning McQueen in Cars Land, and Joy and Sadness at Pixar Pier. all while listening to a new, specially curated soundtrack of reimagined Disney songs broadcast throughout the park.

    Tickets will be available on the official Disneyland website for this event beginning March 4 for event dates through April 5, 2021. After this first batch of tickets initially go on sale, event dates later this spring will be added for as long as this event is ongoing (and the park is closed to the general public).
