As well as an extensive roster of attractions, Disneyland Paris’ line-up also includes more than 25 dining outlets. These vary in size and type, including table service, counter service and buffet restaurants, offering many different types of cuisine in heavily-themed settings.
Since we launched our theme park guides last year, we’ve kept a close eye on the ratings and reviews that our readers have given to restaurants at 90+ parks all over the globe. As we’re focusing on Disneyland Paris as our “Park of the Month”, and to encourage more of our readers to rate the park’s dining outlets, here’s a rundown of our pick of the top 5 restaurants at the park.
Note: this article covers restaurants at Disneyland Park only, and doesn’t include those at neighbouring Walt Disney Studios. We’ll cover those in a future article.
5. Lucky Nugget Saloon
Located in Frontierland, the Lucky Nugget Saloon offers an all-you-can-eat buffet lunch, during which guests are accompanied by Disney characters. Set menus are also available, incuding spare ribs, chicken legs and taquitos.
Kids will enjoy meeting their favourite characters in the Lucky Nugget Saloon, which is slightly cheaper than many of Disneyland Paris’ other restaurants.

4. Auberge de Cendrillon
The only restaurant offering authentic French food at Disneyland Park, Auberge de Cendrillon is located next to Sleeping Beauty Castle. The Cinderella-themed restaurant is exclusively used for character dining, with Disney princesses and other characters dropping in to greet guests. Adults can tuck into smoked salmon, duck breast, medallion of veal, roasted rack of lamb or scallops with Champagne sauce. The children’s menu offers slight twists on classic favourites, such as beef burgers in gravy.
Children will enjoy the experience of eating like royalty with their favourite characters at Auberge de Cendrillon, but parents had better come equipped with a king-sized budget. The food is good, but but be warned that it is painfully expensive – almost €60 for adults and €25 for kids.

3. Walt’s – An American Restaurant
Dedicated to Walt Disney, Walt’s is situated on the second floor of the left-hand-side of Main Street USA. It serves a variety of American dishes, including roast salmon, chicken supreme and rump steak, with New York-style cheese cake and Tiramasu on offer for dessert.
Before heading upstairs, guests wait in an area that is packed with Disney memorabilia. They are then seated in one of four rooms, each dedicated to a land in the park: Adventureland, Frontierland, Discoveryland and Fantasyland. Many of the tables are located near to windows, from which guests can watch the crowds circulating on Main Street USA. The restaurant is particularly popular during parades, as it offers an excellent view of the floats below.
Walt’s is among the best restaurants at Disneyland Paris, combining a great location with good food at prices that are stretching, but not completely unreasonable. The service is usually excellent, and the second-floor location means that it’s quieter than many of the park’s other dining locations.

2. Agrabah Café
The Agrabah Café features an Aladdin theme, and offers an all-you-can-eat buffet of primarily Arabic dishes (though other options, such as lasagne, are also on offer). Starter options include salads and spicier dishes, main courses include meatballs and kebabs, while a range of desserts, crepes and fruits are available to finish.
One of the most attractive restaurants at Disneyland Paris, the Agrabah Café features décor that really evokes many of Aladdin’s scenes. It is perhaps the best dining option for all-adult groups at Disneyland Paris, with many families put off by the Arabic menu – and is one of the quietest restaurants at the park. Families shouldn’t be put off, though – there are more basic dishes available for fussier eaters.

1. Blue Lagoon Restaurant
While it is basically a clone of the Blue Bayou Restaurant at Disneyland, the Disneyland Paris version does feature some subtle differences. Both are housed inside the Pirates of the Caribbean ride building (right next to the ride itself), but Disneyland Paris’ is themed around a Caribbean beach rather than a Louisiana Bayou.
Diners are seated in area adjacent to the opening section of Pirates of the Caribbean, and lighting and sound effects are used to create the illusion that it is perpetually night-time. The food itself is a mixture of sea food dishes and Caribbean fare such as Chicken Colombo.
You won’t be able experience anything like the Blue Lagoon other than at a Disney park, and it’s worth shelling out for at least once. None of the scenes of destruction and mayhem seen in Pirates of the Caribbean can be heard from the restaurant, with only the beginning portion of the ride (which sees riders floating along an eerily calm sea) being visible. Ask for a table near the water, and you’ll be able to watch the ride’s boats peacefully floating by.
