It is official, chairman and CEO of Universal Parks and Resorts, Mark Woodbury has just announced during the the Super Nintendo World event in Hollywood that Super Nintendo World is confirmed for Universal Orlando Resort. Woodbury acknowledged that is was the “worst kept secret in history”.

This news certainly won’t come as a surprise to Universal fans but it is fantastic that confirmation is finally here that this extremely popular land will be coming to Orlando. It was originally mentioned during a 2020 earnings call so rumors have been flying for a number of years.
Super Nintendo World is expected to be coming to Epic Universe which is currently slated to open in Summer 2025. With the space there is available in Epic Universe we can expect a larger version of Super Nintendo World than is officially opening at Universal Studios Hollywood on February 17.
