Tomorrowland Light & Power Co. acted as the exit and gift shop for Space Mountain prior to its closure in August 2022 in order for the necessary changes to be made to accommodate TRON Lightcycle / Run. During this time there was a modified exit for Space Mountain to avoid the gift shop and merchandise was moved to Big Top Souvenirs gift shop in Storybook Circus.
We learnt back in March that Tomorrowland Light & Power Co. has become the Tomorrowland Launch Depot which is now open. It acts as a gift shop for both Space Mountain and TRON Lightcycle / Run.
It has now been confirmed that riders on Space Mountain are now able to exit the attraction through the Tomorrowland Launch Depot rather than exiting straight outside like it had been since August 2022.
The Tomorrowland Launch Depot is crammed full of new TRON Lightcycle / Run merchandise as well as Space Mountain merchandise and gives guests a chance for some often well needed air conditioning before heading back out into the Florida sun.
