Though local restrictions in California will keep theme parks there from operating normally at least through the end of the year, Six Flags Magic Mountain has found a very unique way to “open” their park this holiday season.
The all-new “Holiday in the Park Drive-thru Experience,” will run on select nights from November 20-January 3 and will allow guests at Six Flags Magic Mountain to literally drive through the park, taking in eight distinct areas with millions of twinkling lights choreographed to festive seasonal music, beloved holiday characters decked out for the holidays, iconic Holiday in the Park decorations and a drive-by meet and greet with Santa Claus and his elves.
Admission tickets for this special limited-time experience will be between $20-25 per person, with a minimum of two individuals per vehicle required. Members and Season Pass Holders can use their valid pass for free admission, along with a required reservation made online in advance. Tickets will not be available for sale at the park and all reservations must be made in advance.
In addition, special Holiday in the Park Drive-thru Experience food and gift packages will also be available for purchase online in advance and will be delivered to guest cars when they present their purchase voucher at the parking lot entrance and include special holiday goodies like hot chocolate, Christmas cookies and more.
Guests do not have to wear masks while in their vehicle with the windows rolled up, but when interacting with staff or opening windows (to see characters, enjoy ambient music, etc.) masks are required. Advance reservations in addition to valid admission are also required. You can learn more about this special holiday experience here.
