UPDATE October 9 – The American Adventure at EPCOT closed at the end of the day on Sunday, September 18, for an extended closure. We now know that this popular attraction is set to reopen on Saturday December 17.
We are currently unsure of exacty what changes and updates we will see when it does reopen but it is positive to now know when we will once again be able to experience The American Adventure. We will update you on further details of this refurbishment when we get them here on Theme Park Tourist. What do you hope to see when this attraction reopens?
September 20 – The American Adventure at EPCOT was closed yesterday for refurbishment and will continue to be closed for the foreseeable future. It can now be seen on the official Walt Disney World website that the American Adventure at EPCOT isn’t currently showing any performances from Monday September 19 onwards. It states “The American Adventure is currently closed for refurbishment. Please check back here for updates.”
So far, Disney hasn’t given an official date of when we will see the American Adventure reopening at EPCOT.
