The Disneyland Resort announced their new Magic Key Program in August 2021 taking over from the Annual Pass program. There are four tiers which carry different pricing and cater for different families preferences.
One of the additional benefits of initially becoming a Magic Key passholder was labelled as “Throughout the year, they may also be able to enjoy special benefits such as a dedicated dining experience and custom menu items at the Magic Key terrace”.
The Magic Key Terrace is located in Disney California Adventure Park and the OC Register has reported that this “will soon be transformed into a Club 33-style hangout where Disneyland Magic Key passholders can relax and reenergize after a long day at the Anaheim theme park.”
During an online video interview, Walt Disney Imagineering’s Kim Irvine shared her thoughts about the project saying “We wanted to make sure it was a very special place for Magic Key members. We spent a lot of time on the detail, mood, environment and energy of the place.”
The renovation plans are said to include adding new furniture, lighting fixtures, draperies, tile work, stained glass and murals inspired by a pair of adorable animal mascots.
This renovation is estimated to be completed by late Spring and shouldn’t cause too much disruption with the Magic Key Terrace expected to remain open throughout the duration of the project.
