Though Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure was originally scheduled to open in an expanded France pavilion in Summer 2020 it looks like this attraction will now open on October 1, 2021, coinciding with the resort’s 50th anniversary. Construction on this attraction, which uses trackless technology to “shrink” guests down to the size of a rat is basically finished. But Disney is likely waiting to open the attraction for when capacity caps are hopefully lifted and more guests can visit the parks this fall.
Disney recently released a behind-the-scenes video showcasing this attraction which features several portions of the ride and includes more information about what the ride experience will be like. You can check it out here. You can also see a full video of the Disneyland Paris version of this attraction here.
In addition to Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, the new La Crêperie de Paris will also be opening on October 1 in the France expansion area. This new restaurant will have both table- and quick-service options including sweet crepes, savory buckwheat galettes and authentic French hard cider.
Though this is definitely great news about this attraction, we are still waiting on opening dates for other high-profile projects like Harmonious, the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, and Tron Lightcycle Power/Run to be released in the near future.
