We are aware of numerous attractions which are currently closed at the Walt Disney World parks including Walt Disney World Railroad and Souk-al-Magreb. Expedition Everest at Disney’s Animal Kingdom closed back in January for an equipment refurbishment.
It was originally scheduled for this refurbishment to end mid-April but it now appears that on the official Walt Disney World calendar this refurbishment will continue until April 30, 2022.
During this refurbishment, no major changes to the actual ride experience are expected, so if you’ve got your hopes up for a repair for the Yeti, unfortunately, it looks like that won’t be happening this time around.
Expedition Everest is an extremely popular attraction at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and will be sorely missed by fans while it is closed. There is hope that Expedition Everest will reopen earlier than April 30, 2022 if the necessary work is completed early.
