The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is set to open in spring of 2014 at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World.
The new roller coaster is the final element in the Magic Kingdom’s New Fantasyland expansion, and will feature a unique ride system complete with cars that “swing” as they round corners. As its name suggests, it will be themed around Disney’s animated classic Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, taking guests deep inside a diamond mine.
Below are a few updates of the construction of the new attraction.

The side facing the Little Mermaid in nearing completion, the rockwork has been painted and roof tiling is being installed on Triton’s Treasures gift shop.
A part of the facade has been revealed. The extra space is currency being used as stroller parking for the Journey of the Little Mermaid attraction.
It is incredibly detailed and you can’t see the Mine Train from the Little Mermaid section of New Fantasyland.
Using peepholes in the construction walls, you can get a good look on the progress within the walls. This is the view from the Castle Walls area.

The entire track has been installed for the Mine Train and it seems as though most of the rockwork is finished in the Little Mermaid section. The side facing The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh is still bare metal, but the yellow mesh to support the cement for the rockwork is beginning to wrap around.
