Although the 2-Park – 1-Day Ticket for Universal Orlando Resort is more expensive than the standard 1-Park – 1-Day Ticket, it is a very popular option for guests as it allows you the flexibility to visit both Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure on the same day.
Before this week, the usual two ways guests had available to them of park hopping between Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure was to either simply exit one park and then queue and enter the other. The much more exciting way, although perhaps more time consuming, was to ride the Hogwarts™ Express between Hogsmeade™ Station and King’s Cross Station.
With increased attendance expected over the holiday period since Universal Orlando Resort kicked off Christmas Celebrations on November 14, there appears to be a third park hopping option that will be available to guests choosing the 2-Park – 1-Day Ticket.
On Saturday November 14, Expedition Theme Park tweeted that a quicker way to skip between Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure was open. If you are in Islands of Adventure the entrance to this walk way is in Seuss Landing which then leads backstage and surfaces at Universal Studios Florida by the brake run to Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit and emerges out on the pathway past Despicable Me Minion Mayhem.

It is expected that this option won’t necessarily be available every day and could just be saved for busier days. Let us know what you think about this new option by leaving us a comment below or on our Facebook page.
