No FastPass+ or MaxPass Reservations Will be Available for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Opening

In case you missed the news, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland and Disney’s Hollywood Studios is opening ahead of schedule. However, the caveat here is that only one attraction, Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run will be open when this highly-anticipated new land debuts, with Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance confirmed to be opening at a later date at both parks. And now it looks like we’ve got some more news about how things will run when this partial land opening occurs later this year.

Disney has confirmed that the line for Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run will be Stand-by only when this land first opens which meand Disneyland guests using Disney MaxPass and those who want to make FastPass+ reservations at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will not be able to use these services to experience this ride.

And though reservations will be required at Disneyland park to experience this ride in its opening months, Disney’s Hollywood Studios will not have such a system, though we could be looking at some kind of opening queue, similar to what was used at Pandora: The World of Avatar when that attraction first opened.

In addition to the confirmation that FastPass+/Maxpass will not be available, Disney also confirmed that Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run will have a height requirement of 38 inches. And when it opens, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance will have a slightly height requirement of 40″.
