For some, the official opening of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind may not be have been the most exciting thing going on for them yesterday. But you can guarantee for many Disney and Guardians of the Galaxy fans, May 27 had been firmly etched in the diary since it was announced. Well, to add more excitement, Disney announced that a new Guardians of the Galaxy themed line of merchandise is now available.
The Treasures of Xandar is the official merchandise location for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind where fans can get their hands on a whole host of merchandise. The new, Guardians of the Galaxy: Heroes of Xandar Collection includes T-shirts and “imagines the gear and memorabilia fans would collect during the Guardians’ fictional intergalactic tour.”
There is also the, Guardians of the Galaxy: Through the Eyes of Quill Collection which includes mugs and bags and “is reminiscent of Peter’s younger years on Earth and his first trip to Walt Disney World, featuring the retro graphics and bold colors that were popular in the 1980s.”
The Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind – Honorary Guardians Collection features navy and gold colors and the Honorary Guardian emblem and includes jackets and caps.
Groot fans will be very pleased to hear that there is also a new, Groot Through the Years Collection which celebrates exactly that and includes a range of toys and home décor items. These new collections are now available in The Treasures of Xandar and at the Creations Shop at EPCOT.
