Disney recently announced that the Main Street Electrical Parade would end at on September 1, at Disneyland which was disappointing news for fans of this iconic show.
On a more positive note, Shop Disney tweeted this week that a new Disney’s Electric Light Parade MagicBand+ is available from today (August 17).

With the Main Street Electrical Parade ending on September 1, this new MagicBand+ could be a way for guests to remember the show or as some fans are speculating it could mean that Disney are perhaps planning to bring this popular show back to Walt Disney World at some point in the future?
To celebrate the parades 50th anniversary a new grand finale was added which featured a combination of classic Disney characters as well as some new additions to the Disney family. These included:
- Mirabel and Antonio from Encanto
- The Jungle Book
- Raya and the Last Dragon
- Aladdin
- Coco
- Mulan
- Brave
- The Princess and the Frog
At this point, the potential return to Walt Disney World of the Main Street Electrical Parade is pure speculation as there has not been any word from Disney on this as of yet.
