New Magic Kingdom Fireworks Show to Debut This Fall

Disney has just announced “Enchantment”, a brand new nighttime spectacular coming soon to the Magic Kingdom for the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World. This new nightly spectacular will feature music, enhanced lighting, stunning fireworks and, for the first time, immersive projection effects that extend from Cinderella Castle down Main Street USA.

This new show replaces Happily Ever After, which will begin performances again on July 1, and run every night through the end of September before this new show’s debut on October 1, 2021. You can check out the first concept art for Enchantment below:

In addition to this new nighttime show, the Magic Kingdom will play host to the new Mickey’s Celebration Cavalcade, which will feature Mickey and friends in their new EARidescent outfits celebrating the 50th anniversary of the resort. The cavalcade will travel through Magic Kingdom several times a day, just like current cavalcades.

Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebration will kick off later this year on October 1, 2021 and will be a super-sized event, lasting until April 1, 2023, hopefully giving as many people as possible the chance to take part in this historic milestone. Will you be visiting during this time period?
