Walt Disney World is plussing up the Electrical Water Pageant for the 50th anniversary of the resort, adding a new float to the end of the pageant that will showcase Cinderella Castle in blue, with the 50th anniversary icon in the center. In addition, a special version of the celebration anthem – “The Magic is Calling” will also be added to the Electrical Water Pageant as well.
The Electrical Water Pageant has been part of the Walt Disney World entertainment resort for 50 years, debuting during the first month of Walt Disney World’s operation, making the addition of a 50th-anniversary float especially appropriate.
Guests will be able to catch this enhanced version of the Electrical Water Pageant nightly around the Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake beginning this fall. The special float and music will “bookend” the traditional floats so guests will still be able to see all of their favorite floats from the parade’s 50-year history before checking out the new addition.
