UPDATE (April 23) – The new Connections Cafe has now soft opened at EPCOT. Reports online show excited guests enjoying the new dining location yesterday. Guests visiting EPCOT in the next few days may have the chance to visit during this soft opening period so if you are interested be sure to check it out. As we have already reported below, the Connections Cafe is set to officially open in just a few days time on April 27.
UPDATE (April 21) – Disney has just announced that the new Connections Cafe and Eatery at EPCOT will officially open on April 27. This new location will offer two experiences, a cafe which will be open throughout the day and a restaurant which will serve lunch and dinner.
There are many details to see in this new dining location including a large mural named “Global Gathering” spanning a whole wall and three original floor inlays inspired by Walt’s 1966 “Florida Project” site plans. For those guests who were disappointed with the news that Starbucks is currently unavailable at EPCOT, at least there won’t be too long a wait for the new Connections Cafe and Eatery to open on April 27.
March 31 – Guests at EPCOT will soon have the option to eat at the new Connections Cafe and Eatery which is set to officially open this Spring, located in World Celebration.
This new dining location is labelled as a fast-casual quick service restaurant which is set to have a menu inspired by cuisines from around the world. Guests will be able to see chefs at work preparing a range of offerings including the French Bistro Burger, General Tso Chicken Salad and Pepperoni Pizza.
Further options on the menu include:
- Vietnamese-inspired Banh Mi Burger
- Greek-inspired Mediterranean Burger
- Niçoise-style Salad
- Meatball Pizza
- Curry Spice Pizza
Kids can enjoy Grilled Chicken Bao, the Chicken Nuggets Basket or a Cheeseburger. There will be a host of shakes on offers including Mango-Cocunut Milk Shake and Apple Pie Gelato Shake and the Liege Waffle is set to impress for dessert.
Starbucks fans will be pleased to hear that the Connections Cafe is a Starbucks location offering beverages as well as Disney baked goods. An exact opening date for the Connections Cafe and Eatery has not been given but we do know this new dining location at EPCOT is set to open very soon.
