This year, Disney has been testing a new way to purchase merchandise through their mobile app whilst at Walt Disney World and Disneyland. This new mobile checkout option is now available at a number of locations throughout Walt Disney World and Disneyland and comes at the perfect time for the start of the holiday season.
Mobile checkout aims to make shopping for merchandise whilst in the parks easier and more convenient. You simply open My Disney Experience or the Disneyland app, scan the barcodes and add them to your bag and then show the QR code and items to the next available cast member and you are done.
Currently Merchandise Mobile Checkout is available in the following locations:
- Walt Disney World Resort – World of Disney at Disney Springs, Creations Shop at EPCOT, Emporium at Magic Kingdom Park. It is coming soon to Mickey’s of Hollywood at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Island Mercantile at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park
- Disneyland Resort – Disneyland Park; Disney Clothiers, Ltd., China Closet and Plaza Point, Emporium, Pioneer Mercantile and Bonanza Outfitters, The Star Trader, Disney California Adventure Park; Elias & Co.,WEB Suppliers, Knick’s Knacks, Downtown Disney District; World of Disney
For up-to-date information regarding locations, open My Disney Experience or the Disneyland app. If you are an Annual Passholder, Magic Key or Disney Vacation Club member make sure your membership or pass is linked to your Disney account so discounts will automatically be applied to your mobile checkout.
