Living with the Land unexpectedly closed on Friday, August 20th, and has not reopened since then. There is some speculation that a technical problem with the water pump and the fire suppression systems is causing the closure, but nothing has been officially confirmed in the 11 days since this attraction last operated.
During this closure boats have been seen cycling intermittently, and according to the official attraction website there is no refurbishment scheduled so hopefully this means that this attraction will reopen soon!
As with all things, guests hitting the parks should check the My Disney Experience app to see what attractions are currently operating and which ones are temporarily closed.
Hopefully whatever issue is causing this ride not to operate will be fixed soon so that guests can once again enjoy this EPCOT favorite in the near future as Walt Disney World gets ready for its 50th anniversary celebrations.
