Over the last couple of weeks there has been a rumor floating that limited airport service for Minnie vans will be returning. According to a post on BlogMickey, sources say that airport service will resume in a limited capacity on December 14.
To begin with, airport service will only be available to Club Level guests and will be priced at $199 for a one-way trip. This is a considerable increase on the price this service was prior to the COVID-19 shut downs, when a one-way trip was $155.
We are yet to hear of further details as to a date when the Minnie van airport service will be rolled out on a wider level but we will keep you updated on this on our news and Facebook page.
Minnie Vans officially returned to Walt Disney World starting at the end of June, with some guests having had the chance to use the service in the couple of weeks prior to this in a soft opening period. Minnie Vans have only been available for guests whilst they are on property.

You can simply use your smartphone to request a ride through the Lyft app. The Disney-owned and operated vehicles are a fun and convenient way to travel around the resort.Booking a Minnie Van can be done by just opening your Lyft App and selecting a Minnie Van vehicle to pick you up from your desired location.
Each vehicle can fit up to six guests and have two child seats available for use if needed which will be installed by the driver. The cost of this service is dependant on destination but a final price is shown when booking through the Lyft app. To make a booking:
- Open the Lyft app
- Select your Walt Disney World destination
- Confirm where you would like your pick-up location to be
- Tap “Select Minnie Van” (you may need to swipe through the vehicle options if the Minnie Van service is not the default)
- The app will give you a number to identify your vehicle and there will be a map displaying your vehicle en route to you
