Kraken At SeaWorld Orlando is Turning Green

Kraken, thecoasterkings.com

It was announced in mid October that two of SeaWorld Orlando’s most popular rollercoasters would be closed on select low-attendance days in order for both to be repainted

An update from thecoasterkings.com this week shows a number of photos from SeaWorld Orlando and to many people’s horror, the original and iconic teal and yellow colours of Kraken is being replaced with a bright green while the supports are being painted a dark teal.

You can take a look at the new green color so far in the photos below with many more posted on thecoasterkings.com. It currently looks about half finished and we are guessing SeaWorld is looking to getting it completed as soon as possible, ready for 2022.

Manta is also being repainted but appears to be keeping its original color with the main change being the fencing around the rollercoaster which is now brown rather than white.
