Italy’s Gardaland theme park has announced that it will be the first theme park in the world to feature an attraction based on the Jumanji film franchise. Jumanji – the Adventure will transport guests to the world of Jumanji, where an exhilarating adventure awaits them: a journey full of pitfalls, surprises, and dangers through the wild jungle.
Set to open at the beginning of Gardaland’s 2022 season, the new Jumanji – the Adventure attraction will be a dark ride for adventure lovers of all ages, a wide audience perfect for families and young adults.
Gardaland CEO Aldo Maria Vigevani said in a statement, “Synonymous with adventure, fantasy, fun, action, play and imagination, ‘Jumanji’ blends seamlessly with Gardaland’s founding values.”
Though this is the first Jumanji ride, we’d guess that Merlin-owned Gardaland will not be the last theme park to feature an attraction based on this blockbuster franchise. Would you like to see a Jumanji-themed ride come to a US-based park?
