We heard back in November 2021 that the extremely popular night-time show, Fantasmic! would be returning to Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World in 2022.
We then learnt that we can expect to see additional segments in the show featuring new characters, water effects, and stunt performers. These new sequences are said to include fan favorites from Frozen, Moana and Aladdin.
A tweet from Bioreconstruct shows that the refurbishment is nearly complete with Steamboat Willy now finished after a complete overhaul and the pool has now been filled.

With the “Festival of Fantasy” parade newly announced to reopen on March 9, 2022 and with the refurbishment for Fantasmic! now looking almost complete, we are hoping we will hear very soon when Fantasmic! at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will return. Perhaps a Early Spring opening will be on the cards? We will update you as soon as there is an announcement.
