Splash Mountain fans will undoubtedly be feeling blue this week after the iconic attraction closed at the Magic Kingdom at the end of Sunday, January 22. For many it was a day when they felt compelled to visit the park to bid a fond farewell and enjoy their last rides.
Hundreds of adoring fans headed straight to the attraction following rope drop on Sunday morning and the area was packed all day with guests eager to get their last ride on Splash Mountain. Numerous videos have appeared online capturing Splash Mountain’s last rides and we have chosen two of the best to embed in this article for anyone who wasn’t able to be there on Sunday and feels they want to get a glimpse of the last day.
