We reported last week that the Presidents’ Day weekend at Walt Disney World was indeed going to be extremely busy with the Magic Kingdom fully booked for the whole weekend and all four theme parks fully booked on Monday February 21.
This week huge crowds have continued to be seen at Walt Disney World with all four theme parks also at capacity on February 22.
As of now, it is currently recorded on the official Walt Disney World calendar that the Magic Kingdom continues to be fully booked for the whole weekend as well as Monday February 28 and Tuesday March 1 which will make a total of thirteen days that the Magic Kingdom has been at capacity.
This is the availability at the remaining Walt Disney World parks for the weekend as it stands now:
- Saturday February 26 – EPCOT
- Sunday February 27 – EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- Monday February 28 – EPCOT
- Tuesday March 1 – EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Despite the recent rising of ticket prices along with the controversial Genie+ Service, Disney fans still appear to be voting with their feet and heading to Walt Disney World as we approach March. We are expecting the parks to continue to be hugely crowded as we head into Spring break and beyond especially with the return of The “Festival Fantasy Parade” which returns on March 9.
It was positive to hear that as of February 25, Disney has temporarily moved three popular attractions to the Genie+ Service from Individual Lightning Lane Selections. This will remain in place until August 7, 2022 to help alleviate issues with crowds in the parks.
