Disneyland will be a lot different when it finally reopens on April 30th, with the newly reimagined “Snow White’s Enchanted Wish” attraction opening alongside the reopened park and the all-new Avengers Campus ready to welcome guests just a few weeks after. And now Disney has announced that during the over year-long closure of Disneyland some upgrades have been added to The Haunted Mansion at the park.
The changes begin with fresh landscaping details including new tributes to dearly departed pets, sharing their stories from beyond the grave. Continuing inside the attractions, guests winding their way through the portrait gallery will find updated design embellishments on some of the classic paintings as well as the return of one of the Mansion’s original portraits known as “April to December”. You can see these changes up close in the sneak preview below:
Disneyland park and Disney California Adventure park will officially reopen to California residents only on April 30, 2021 and those with existing tickets who were impacted by the closure can make park reservations now. New ticket sales are set to kick off on April 15.
Like at Walt Disney World, capacity will be limited, and shows, parades, nighttime spectaculars and some attractions will not be returning immediately with the park.
