Halloweekends at Cedar Point officially kicked off on Saturday, September 18 with excitement high and haunts aplenty. This year’s Halloween event runs on select days and nights through October 31. Cedar Point is open Fridays 6pm-12am, Saturdays 11am-12am and Sundays 11am-8pm for the remainder of September. It then steps up a gear and extends opening hours in October when the park opens Thursdays 6pm-12am, Fridays and Saturdays 11am-12am (apart from Oct 1 where is 6pm-12am) and Sundays 11am-10pm.
Cedar Point’s Halloweekends are made up of Tricks and Treats Fall Fest experiences which are available Saturday and Sundays 11am-7pm in September and Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays 11am-7pm in October. This includes numerous Halloween fun for all the family including; Boneyard Jamboree, Spooky Eye Spy, Trick-or-Treat, Tricks and Treats Crafts, Pumpkin Patch Picking, Pumpkin Decorating, Ghoulish Game Zone, Camp Spooky Dance Party, Artisan Pumpkin Patch and Monster Makeovers.
Further family-friendly attractions include; Tricks and Treats Challenge Course, The Magical House on Book Hill, Crazy Corn Box, Howlin’ Hay Maze, Tricky Corn Maze, Monstrous Mummy Pit and Harvest Tractors.
Cedar Point not only caters for younger kids but older kids too with Halloween Experiences available for ages 14 and under Saturdays 11am-4pm and Sundays 11am-3pm in September with added hours Fridays 11am-4pm Fridays in October. Hexed Spellbound is a lair in which clues must be solved in order to free the witches from the evil curse. Eerie Estate is a fun game where you walk the halls to find out whodunit.
For those older guests looking for some serious thrills and Halloween fun, Cedar point offers their Haunt event which kicks off every evening and includes twelve haunt mazes aimed at scaring guests senseless. The six indoor haunt mazes include the New Hexed Black Magic as well as Deprivation, Fearground Freak Show, Slaughter House and Erie Estate. The outdoor scare zones haunt mazes include the New Banished as well as Cornstalkers 2.0, Harvest Fear, Cut Throat Cove and Blood on the Bayou.
