For the past few months, the Hall of Presidents attraction at the Magic Kingdom has been closed while Imagineers work to add President Joe Biden to the stage as the 46th President of the United States. And now it looks like their work is almost complete, as Disney has confirmed that this classic Liberty Square attraction will reopen next month in advance of the resort’s 50th anniversary.
When this attraction reopens guests will be able to hear the presidential oath of office recorded at the White House by President Biden himself just for the attraction. In addition, eagle-eyed guests will notice that the table next to President Biden is adorned with a few special items, each with their own significance to the President including peach blossoms to represent his home state of Delaware and a pair of his signature aviators.
No specific changes to the first portion of the attraction have been confirmed, so we’d guess that when it reopens, the initial part of the show will be the same as it was in 2016, when the attraction was overhauled with new segments, lighting, and more.
