Celebration of Festival of the Lion King at Disney’s Animal Kingdom was the first entertainment offering to return to the park after COVID-19 closures.
Due to continued safety measures when it reopened in May 2021, changes had been made to choreography to allow for appropriate physical distancing.
We heard back in January 2022 that Disney was reducing the number of showtimes on weekdays but we are now pleased to announce that showtimes for the Celebration of Festival of the Lion King at Disney’s Animal Kingdom have now increased back to eight times a day.
The forty minute show will be performed on the hour from 10:00AM to 5:00PM everyday. This is certainly positive news when crowds in the park are huge especially this coming week when all four parks are fully booked for the weekend, with only very limited availability at EPCOT and Disney’s Animal Kingdom next week.
