Universal Orlando Resort isn’t generally renown for its kid friendly attractions, rather being focussed on thrill rides and intense experiences.
Well, there is of course Seuss Landing at Universal’s Islands of Adventure for kids to enjoy and what do most kids love? You guessed it, dinosaurs.
Located just across from the Jurassic Park River Adventure and nearby to the popular Pteranodon Flyers is Camp Jurassic. Camp Jurassic is an interactive play area with water features, caves and wait for it, dinosaur capture nets. As with any attraction, maintenance has to be done and recently these popular nets have been closed in order to be restrung.
These dinosaur capture nets are now back open for kids to explore and enjoy at Camp Jurassic. The net bridges which are located inside the caves are still closed but we are hoping that these will soon be renovated in order to complete the Camp Jurassic experience for younger kids visiting Universal’s Islands of Adventure.
