Beginning January 15, guests staying at a Walt Disney World Deluxe Resort have had the option of a full house keeping service every day of their stay. It has been announced this week that this service will be rolled out to all Walt Disney World resorts by the end of February.

The full house keeping service includes cleaning the bathroom and replacing towels as well as making the bed, tidying the room, disposing of the trash, dusting and vacuuming.
It is worth noting that guests can opt out of daily house keeping at any point during their stay by speaking to a Cast Member at check-in or during online check-in or by placing the “room occupied” sign on their door.
Currently, Moderate or Value Resorts can enjoy house keeping every other day and for DVC members house keeping will continue to be done based on the length of stay although additional service can be purchased.
The return of this perk for Walt Disney World Resort guests sees another step Disney is making to return the experience back to what Disney fans were used to expecting before the COVID-19 theme park shut downs.
Will the addition of extra house keeping entice you back to staying on property at Walt Disney World? We also heard back at the beginning of January that self-parking would also be free once again for guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort. We understand that many Disney fans will still be unhappy about the current Disney experience but it appears Disney is moving in the right direction to restore perks to return Walt Disney World to its former glory.
