Frozen: Live at the Hyperion and Mickey and the Magical Map Not Returning to Disneyland

Two of the most popular live entertainment options at Disneyland Resort are reportedly closing indefinitely due to the ongoing closure of the resort’s theme parks. Over the weekend it looks like performers involved with both Frozen: Live at the Hyperion as well as Mickey and the Magical Map were informed via email late last night that the shows were closing indefinitely and would not be reopening with Disneyland’s theme parks.

Of course, there is still no reopening target available for either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure due to ongoing tension between state officials and Disney executives regarding reopening dates and guidelines, with each side trading public jabs with one another over reopening issues, without seemingly making much in the way of progress.

These closures are definitely sad to see, and our thoughts are with all of the Cast Members who have been affected. While there’s no telling what will happen in the future, hopefully Disney will find a way in the years ahead to bring these shows back.
