Since opening in 2019, Disney’s Skyliner has carried millions of guests around the resort giving them amazing views. On Sunday January 23, 2022 the Disney Skyliner line which runs between EPCOT International Gateway, Disney’s Riviera Resort and Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort will be closed for refurbishment.
Originally, this refurbishment was going to begin on January 23 and run through Thursday January 28. It has now been reported that the Disney Skyliner will only be closed on three days within this time frame rather than the full five. The exact three days the Disney Skyliner will be closed haven’t been announced.
Bus transportation will be provided for guests on the days when the Disney Skyliner is closed. Guests wanting a more scenic experience can use the Friendship boats. Check out the official website for full details on water transportation options during this time.
The Disney Skyliner usually allows guests to travel between Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney’s Riviera Resort, Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, and Disney’s Pop Century Resort with ease thanks to their many Skyliner Stations. Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort is home to the main station, offering three lines of travel to get to the other locations along the route. There’s an Epcot Line, a Disney’s Hollywood Studios Line, and a Disney’s Art of Animation/Pop Century Line.
