UPDATE – Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon is definitely back open today (April 10) from 10:00 until 6:00PM after being closed yesterday due to cold weather.
April 9 – Having reported yesterday (April 8) that hours will be extended at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon from June 12, it now appears on the official calendar that the park will be closed today (Saturday April 9, 2022).
Earlier yesterday, the hours for today were scheduled from 10:00AM until 6:00PM so this is certainly an unexpected closure which we assume is down to cooler weather. There are no hours showing on the official calendar for Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon today and when looking at the official page it just says “schedule unavailable” for all the attractions.
The weather is set to reach a high of only 69 degrees fahrenheit which is likely the reason why Disney has made the decision to close the park today. Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon is set to reopen on Sunday April 10, 2022 from 10:00AM to 6:00PM, however as it currently has a high of 73 degrees fahrenheit we will have to wait and see if a decision will be made to also shut the park tomorrow.
