Though Disneyland Paris Resort’s theme parks will remain closed until the new year, the resort will be opening select shopping and dining experiences in the Disney Village area of the resort from December 5 through December 23, including World of Disney as well as select food and merchandise chalets will be open with seasonal treats.Shopping will be available from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM daily during these dates, and guests will be able to find some deep discounts on merchandise, some as much as 30% off.
In addition to being able to physically shop for items, guests can also use the new “Click & Collect” service, which allows them to purchase select items at store.disneylandparis.com, then pick up and pay for their selected items at World of Disney during a given time slot. Guests picking up purchases can have one hour of free parking at the Disney Village Indigo Parking by asking for a voucher when paying at World of Disney.
In addition to shopping and dining, Golf Disneyland is planning on reopening December 5 by reservation only and the Gaumont Disney Village Cinema is also planning on reopening December 15, showing animated classics from Disney and Pixar.
Unfortunately it will be some time before the theme parks open back up as last month French President Emmanuel Macron has ruled out opening theme parks over the holiday period, which means Disneyland Paris will stay closed through the end of the year and will now reopen on February 13, 2021, according to DLP Report. However, with rapidly changing conditions this date could be shifted at any time, and we’ll let you know if there are any updates to this plan in the near future.
