When it comes to theme park reopenings, the west coast has been taking things a lot slower than the East Coast, only just opening its theme parks a few weeks ago, and keeping tight health and safety measures in place. However, it looks like Disneyland is matching Walt Disney World with regard to mask policies, as guests will no longer be required to wear a mask indoors or outdoors at either resort starting tomorrow, June 15, 2021.
Like at Walt Disney World (and other theme parks) vaccinated guests will not be required to show proof of vaccination status before removing their masks.
In addition, physical distancing and temperature checks will also be ending tomorrow at the Disneyland resort as well, which is in line with the state of California’s reopening guidelines.
Though no changes have been announced to capacity caps, we’d imagine that, like Walt Disney World, the Disneyland Resort will be gradually increasing guest levels, without specifically disclosing exactly what percentage capacity is being capped at.
