Though there are plenty of projects at Walt Disney World that have stalled or been delayed indefinitely, work continues on the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser hotel, and last week Disney shared a new inside look at what guests who book their own “Star Wars adventure” aboard this special vessel can expect.
Here you can see Walt Disney World President Jeff Vahle and Parks & Resorts Chairman Josh D’amaro checking out the cabins in progress, including their special “windows” that will allow guests to see out into space.
We can also see the small bunk beds that look like they will be perfect for children under 10 who travel to a galaxy far, far away via this vessel.
Though these photos look like the regular sized cabin, there will be a limited number of larger “Captain’s Quarters” cabins available for larger parties that need additional space.
Though Disney was originally supposed to start accepting reservations for this new experience last year, unfortunately it looks like the COVID-19 Pandemic has pushed back those plans. It is unknown if Disney is still targeting 2021 for opening or if this experience will be pushed back to 2022, but we’ll let you know when we learn more!
