UPDATE 2: Walt Disney World now has showtimes scheduled for Harmonious on September 29 and 30, ahead of its announced October 1 opening date. EPCOT Forever will end its run on September 28, 2021
UPDATE: Disney has released some technical details about Harmonious at EPCOT, confirming that this nighttime spectacular is 20 minutes long and features 15 songs in 13 languages from movies like Moana, Hercules, The Lion King, The Princess and The Frog, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Coco, Brave, Mulan, and more.
We’re only a few days away from the kickoff of Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary on October 1, 2021, and the simultaneous debut of both the Harmonious and Disney Enchantment nighttime spectaculars. However, if you aren’t going to be able to make it to the theme parks next week, Disney has announced that they will be livestreaming preview performances of both nighttime spectaculars ahead of their official debuts next week.
First up will be Harmonious on September 29, which will live stream at 9:00 PM. Interestingly, this is during regular park hours so guests in the park on the 29th will also get to see an early showing of this nighttime spectacular before its October 1 debut.
The following day Disney will livestream a preview of Disney Enchantment on September 30 at 10:15 PM. Unlike the EPCOT performance, this is after park closing, so regular guests will not be able to see this new nighttime spectacular in person until October 1.
Disney has also shared a new behind-the-scenes look at Disney Enchantment, showcasing how the Disney Imagineers are putting the final touches on the show. You can check it out in the video below:
Will you be watching the livestreams of these new nighttime spectaculars? Or will you be waiting to check out Disney Enchantment and Harmonious in person?
