UPDATE May 25 – It is just over a month ago when Disney put their Walt Disney World Annual Passes back on sale. Eager Disney fans that had been patiently waiting since November 2021 to get their hands on an Annual Pass waited for over 7 hours on the first day to purchase one.
Walt Disney World Annual Passholders will soon have the opportunity to pick up a very cute Figment magnet at the Creations Shop at EPCOT from 9AM to 9PM from May 31 to June 30 while supplies last. One magnet is available per passholder and valid ID and your Pass must be brought with you when collecting it. Please note there will be no virtual queue.

April 22 2:32AM ET – Yesterday morning the queue opened once again for Walt Disney World Annual Passes purchases but after a message on the website last night at 9:00PM ET it looks like today may be your last chance to get your hands on select passes.
As of 9pm ET, the Disney Incredi-Pass, Disney Pixie Pass, Disney Pirate Pass, Disney Sorcerer Pass are still available. Disney: “Please note availability on a pass or select passes may become unavailable for purchase at any time after sales reopen tomorrow.” pic.twitter.com/dWwDPCS8gb

Sales are set to resume from 7:15AM ET so be ready at your computer. The same will apply, you will have 10 minutes to enter the site once it is your turn. You can still join the queue at any point from now onwards using this link you just won’t progress any further forward until it opens. Good luck!
UPDATE April 21 5:55AM ET – We hope as many people as possible managed to purchase a Walt Disney World Annual Pass yesterday. Sales stopped at 11:00PM last night and this is the message which currently appears on the website:
“We thank you and all our fans for the incredible enthusiasm for the Passholder program. Pass sales are currently paused. Guests will remain in the queue overnight, as long as they remain connected to the network and keep their browser window open. Pass sales will resume no earlier than 7:15 AM Eastern Time tomorrow.”
UPDATE 9:08AM ET – The issue appears to have been resolved and the site is back up and running. It is now reading “more than an hour” as a wait time and you can certainly expect to wait a lot longer than an hour. Have been in the queue since 6:52AM ET which was pretty much when the queue opened and it looks like I am nearly a third of the way there. Hopefully the site will not go down again.
UPDATE 8:49AM ET – Just an update, since 8:28AM there has been a message on the queue page saying “Pardon the Inconvenience. Annual Pass sales will resume as soon as possible. We thank you for your patience and understanding.” You are still in the queue just nothing is moving at the moment, hopefully this will be rectified shortly.
UPDATE 6:52AM ET – The queue is now open! Follow this link to get in the queue. It is currently registering wait time as more than an hour and when your turn comes, you’ll have 10 minutes to enter the site. It states that “Annual Pass availability is limited and being in the queue does not guarantee the ability to purchase any Annual Pass.” Good luck!
It was the news many Disney fans have been waiting a very long time to hear. Disney announced at the beginning of April that they would resume the sale of Walt Disney World Annual Passes beginning April 20.
New sales of the Disney Incredi-Pass, Disney Sorcerer Pass and Disney Pirate Pass will be able to be purchased online by visiting the official website here. We are now told that sales will not begin until at least 6:00AM ET.
We are expecting the website to be extremely busy so if you are desperate to get your hands on a Walt Disney World Annual Pass we advise you get online prior to 6:00AM to get in the queue to purchase. Just worth noting that there initially was a 2hr+ wait in the queue to get online to the Disneyland website to purchase a Magic Key recently so expect a long wait.
Here is the current pricing for each of the available passes:
- Disney Pixie Dust Pass – $399 (plus tax)
- Disney Pirate Pass – $747 (plus tax)
- Disney Sorcerer Pass – $969 (plus tax)
- Disney Incredi-Pass – $1399 (plus tax)
Those eligible DVC Members should have already been able to get online to purchase a DVC Disney Sorcerer Pass which began on April 13.
Disney paused all sales of Walt Disney World Annual Passes back in November 2021 so this announcement has been a very long time in coming.
Walt Disney World Annual Passholders gain a number of benefits depending on the Pass and, beginning April 18, Annual Passholders can visit the theme parks after 2 p.m. without needing a park reservation, except on Saturdays and Sundays at Magic Kingdom Park.
Annual Passholders can still visit Magic Kingdom on Saturdays and Sundays after 2pm if you have a park reservation for a different park for that day and have actually entered that park prior to arriving at the Magic Kingdom.
Walt Disney World Annual Passes are going to be highly sought after so if you want to purchase one then we suggest you do it as soon as possible. We are currently unsure how long the passes will be on sale for but as we have seen with the Disneyland Magic Key passes when the allocation is gone it is gone so based on the likely popularity we assume this will not be very long.
We will continue to update you with any further details regarding wait times and pass availability during the over the next couple of days.
