May 12 – Preparations for Halloween Horror Nights 31 are well underway and it is at this time of the year when we start to get teasers for what is to be expected at this years event. Well, there was a tweet posted which gave the name of a haunted house coming to Universal Studios Hollywood, named ‘Universal Monsters Legends Collide’.
The image showed a haunted house with three Universal classic monsters; Dracula, Wolfman and The Mummy. Interestingly, this tweet was then quickly deleted, giving us the impression that the information was not meant for release just yet or that it was a media stunt to create attention which it definitely has suceeded to do. Whatever the reason, it does seem extremely likely that this will indeed be one of the haunted houses coming to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood in 2022.
Now for all you Halloween Horror Nights fans in Orlando, things become a bit more unclear. Whereas some haunted houses are the same at both resorts, we don’t so far have any word whether this new haunted house ‘Universal Monsters Legends Collide’ is also destined for Orlando.
Interestingly, the second version speculation map which was revealed for Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Florida back in mid-April did tease a haunted house called Universal Monsters: The Mummy Vs The Wolfman so it would make sense to assume there is a good chance we could see ‘Universal Monsters Legends Collide’ at both the Hollywood and Florida event.
We will keep you up to date with further details for Halloween Horror Nights at both Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Studios Orlando on our news and Facebook page.
