All Park Passport Will Replace Cedar Fair Platinum Pass In 2024, Will This Be Beneficial For Guests?

Cedar Fair currently has a range of options for guests to choose from when it comes to season passes; 2023 Season Pass, Gold Pass, Platinum Pass and Prestige Pass It has recently been announced by Cedar Fair that in 2024, the Platinum Pass will no longer be offered.

Cedar Fair will instead, offer an add-on in the form of the All Park Passport. The All Park Passport will cost an additional $100 when purchasing a Gold Pass and $125 when purchasing a Prestige Pass.

The All Park Passport will essentially do exactly that, give you the same perks as either the Gold or Prestige Pass for ALL Cedar Fair Parks.

So, will it be more expensive?

Well, actually for 2024 it should turn out cheaper! Purchasing the Gold Pass and All Park Passport add-on will give you exactly the same experience as the current Platinum Pass which will be discontinued in 2024 for $50 less.

Cedar Fair fans will also have the option of paying an extra $125 on top of the Prestige Pass price to experience the VIP treatment at ALL Cedar Fair Parks in 2024, something that has not been available in 2023.

Note: Prestige Pass only available at Canada’s Wonderland, Carowinds, Cedar Point, Kings Dominion, Kings Island, and Knott’s Berry Farm

It certainly seems like a sensible change for Cedar Fair to make and gives guests the flexibility of being able to visit ALL Cedar Fair Parks whilst enjoying the perks of a Gold Pass or a Prestige Pass and in regards to the Gold Pass option for 2024 it will actually be $50 cheaper than if the Platinum Pass was continuing.

We assume prices will rise for all season passes and the All Park Passport in 2024 and beyond but for now it looks like a positive move that should benefit Cedar Fair guests.
