The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Diagon Alley at Universal Studios Florida is packed with pricey options for taking home a piece of Potter-lore, but the choices are more limited if you don’t have much to spend.
Working with a cap of $15, here are some of the cheapest souvenirs you can pick up in Diagon Alley.
1. Weasley Treats
Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes is one of the best places to get affordable souvenirs. While many are edible and thus won’t last too long, you can always keep the packaging. Some options, like the tin for the Bing Bong Ginger Snaps ($13.95), make a lasting keepsake. Try the Fever Fudge ($6.95) for a sweet twist on a classic snack. The vanilla fudge has jelly beans encased in it. For a treat from the Weasleys that’s not edible, grab a set of three round pins for just $7.95.
2. House Ear Buds
Listen to music with a bit of house pride on your ears with colorful ear buds that feature your favorite Hogwarts house. There’s an option for every house, each in the appropriate colors with the house animal featured on each earbud. Just $14.95.
3. Hogwarts Express Tickets
The only ticket you’ll really need to ride the Hogwarts Express is a park-to-park ticket for Universal Orlando, but if you want a commemorative souvenir of your ride, these crisp tickets are a great choice. The package comes with two tickets – one for London to Hogwarts and the other from Hogwarts back to London. Get both for $10.95.
4. House Notebooks
Get ready for your school year with a notebook featuring your Hogwarts house. Available for Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, Gryffindor, and Slytherin, these are a great way to get ready for a muggle school year, or even add some whimsical flair to your desk at work. Each notebook is $14.95.
5. House Bookmarks
Diagon Alley has several options for house themed bookmarks. These sculpted bookmarks are silver or gold (depending on your house) and feature the house’s animal on top. The center includes the house crest and the Hogwart’s crest is at the bottom. The open design makes it easy to clip this bookmark right over the top of your page. Grab one for $6.95.
6. Diagon Alley Commemorative Pin
This giant pin is a big bold way to remember your trip to Diagon Alley. The pin includes three layers with the year at the bottom so you can show off your visit in the very first year it was open. Though it’s priced higher than most pins at $14.95, this piece is about the size of your palm.
Make your trip one to remember and take home one of these small trinkets from your next trip to Diagon Alley.
