The cost of a family visit to Flamingo Land can easily mount up to hundreds of pounds, particularly when the cost of food, souvenirs and accommodation is factored in. While the park doesn’t offer the steep 2-for-1 discounts that some of its UK rivals do, it is still possible to save money by planning ahead.
Here are some essential tips to help cut the cost of your next visit to Flamingo Land.
Take advantage of special offers and discounts
Flamingo Land’s offers may be less generous than some other parks’, but the park does still occasionally offer ticket discounts in conjunction with newspapers, stores and websites. You can find all the latest offers using Theme Park Tourist’s Flamingo Land deals pages, and if all else fails tickets are available at a slight discount from the Flamingo Land website.
Pick up an Annual Pass
If you’re a regular visitor to Flamingo Land, buying an Annual Pass or a Season Pass could save you money in the long-run. As a rough rule of thumb, you’ll need to visit at least 4 times per year for the pass to cost in, though.
Take your own drinks and snacks
Food and drink can be quite expensive at Flamingo Land, though pricing is fairly reasonable next to some competing theme parks. Bringing a selection of drinks and snacks (or even a packed lunch) is advisable, and there are plenty of pleasant spots around the park where you can consume them. If you don’t want to lug a picnic around all day, leave them in the car and send someone back to collect it at lunchtime – the car park is right outside the front gates.
Take your own souvenir photos
As at most theme parks, on-ride photos are available for most of Flamingo Land’s major attractions. These are a little pricey, though, so why not consider getting a picture of yourself with one of the park’s animal inhabitants instead?
